VISION
Our vision is to be the Aboriginal business of choice delivering quality conservation and cultural outcomes in Western Australia’s Mid West and beyond.
MISSION
Founded in 2011, Western Mulga is a 100% Aboriginal owned and operated business that aims to:
- Get Aboriginal people on to Country through commercial conservation projects; and
- Exceed expectations of safety, environment and associated services to preserve, protect and restore country back to its natural state.
We aim to secure sustainable employment for our workforce, reinforce their connection to country and elevate social and economic outcomes for them, their families and the wider community. We do this by building relationships with government and the private sector to meet their environmental and Indigenous employment objectives.
APPROACH
- Lead the way, do what’s right, take responsibility;
- Embed Health and Safety in all we do;
- Protect, preserve and restore country, including urban settings, using traditional land management practices and ecological knowledge in conjunction with modern practices and innovation;
- Use innovative technology and practices that provide the safest most efficient and effective service to our clients;
- Develop a positive relationship with clients, understand their business and adopt their business problems to achieve best outcomes;
- Use the smallest, best skilled team where ever possible;
- Foster a workplace environment and culture conducive to equality and family.
